I thought my father was the strongest man in the world. I was maybe seven, maybe eight, deep in my WWE phase — the kind of obsession that made you rank every adult in your life by whether or not they could survive a steel chair to the back. My father, in my mind, was undefeated. Unstoppable. I could not understand why he had no interest in becoming a professional wrestler. He seemed genuinely baffled by the question.
